TEACHING ASSISTANT & LUNCHTIME ASSISTANT, (REF: MEV012)

21.25 hours a week (including 5 hours lunchtime) permanent from September 2020

Actual salary £8202 (Pay and grading review pending)

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils learning across the primary age range. Part time hours of 21.25 per week primarily working from 0845 to 1300 hours. The post will also include lunch-time cover.

This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and seven primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum
Have phonics knowledge with RWI
Cover classes as required
Provide lunch-time cover
Undertake group work
Assist in break-time supervision
Assist in the preparation of teaching resources
Be able to communicate effectively with children and parents
