Pastoral Support Officer

 Starting salary £15,670 gross per annum

(Pending pay and grading review)

34 hours per week, term time plus 5 INSET days and 12 additional days

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Officer from September 2020 to 31^st August 2021.  The role is to provide high quality support for students and their families, that promotes positive behaviour, punctuality and attitudes to learning of students in order to raise their achievement and wellbeing.

This is an exciting time to join our thriving Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and seven primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.

Cornwall has a hugely diverse landscape with nearly a third of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Cornwall is almost completely surrounded by sea with dramatic coastline, captivating fishing harbours, spectacular sandy beaches and a rich cultural heritage.
