Actual salary £17,482-£21,055 (Pay and grading review pending)

Fixed Term until 31^st August 2021

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and committed Cover Supervisor to work within our team. The successful candidate will need to work closely with our Assistant Head teachers and Class Teachers to ensure seamless quality teaching in the event of staff sickness or training absence.

You will take a lead role within the school team planning, delivering, assessing and reviewing whole class teaching. You will work closely to support class teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that children are well supported ensuring quality interactions with children which will maximise their learning to ensure good progress.

You must be passionate about children’s learning and proactive in supporting children, working with families and alongside staff. You must be committed to maintaining high standards and expectations and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.

Cornwall has a hugely diverse landscape with nearly a third of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cornwall is almost completely surrounded by sea with dramatic coastline, captivating fishing harbours, spectacular sandy beaches and a rich cultural heritage.
