Cornwall Education learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Trust-wide Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) from September 2021. The role will be based at Newquay Primary Academy (NPA), a Free School with an opening date September 2021. The role will include performing DSL role for NPA 2 days per week and strategically leading CELT Primary DSLs for
3 days per week.
This post is a full-time contract (52.143 paid weeks) and the postholder will be required to annualise their hours (1,929.18 inc annual leave) so that the majority is delivered during term time. There will be a requirement to travel to undertake work at or for academies within the Trust. The successful candidate does not require QTS but must be educated to degree level.
This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools.
