Permanent, 35 hours per week

Term Time only plus 5 INSET days (39 working weeks / 44.263 paid weeks)

Starting salary £13,807 gross per annum (Pay and grading review pending)

We are seeking a permanent Child in Care Learning Mentor to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team from 4^th May 2021.  The role of the Child in Care Learning Mentor is to support, advise and guide our students identified in care.  The role requires good communication and interpersonal skills in order to engage and motivate students.  If you would like the challenge of working in a demanding and rewarding environment, then we want to hear from you.

This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.

Cornwall has a hugely diverse landscape with nearly a third of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Cornwall is almost completely surrounded by sea with dramatic coastline, captivating fishing harbours, spectacular sandy beaches and a rich cultural heritage.
