Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Health & Safety Officer as soon as possible to be responsible for ensuring the Trust’s health and safety practices are compliant to current legislation and policy and to ensure all risk assessments, reporting and staff training is performed to the highest standard across the Trust.
The role will be based at Poltair School, St Austell, but there will be a requirement to travel to undertake work at or for all academies and sites within the Trust.
The post is full-time but a flexible approach to working hours is required.
This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.
Cornwall has a hugely diverse landscape with nearly a third of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cornwall is almost completely surrounded by sea with dramatic coastline, captivating fishing harbours, spectacular sandy beaches and a rich cultural heritage.
