Penrice Academy is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools, with a strategic vision to ‘learn together to help every child achieve more’. This is an exciting time to join our large, dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools with a Free School (primary) to open in September 2021. We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join our large, highly successful, creative and dynamic Maths department. Our highly skilled and collaborative team think deeply about teaching, learning and curriculum to ensure our students study a wide range of mathematical concepts, developing their knowledge and understanding of key aspects of Maths as well as their cultural capital. We believe every student is a mathematician and we believe in offering everybody the chance to explore every area of Maths, even the unexpected! We offer many mathematical opportunities outside the classroom, including Further and Additional Maths, UK Maths challenge and Maths Feast.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to work within our Maths team. We offer an extensive and highly supportive programme for our recently qualified teachers and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff.
