Poltair School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Geography on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2021.

Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and effective teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography, to strengthen an already high-performing department. The Geography team are an innovative and hardworking group of teachers who work collaboratively to improve learning and outcomes in the subject – GCSE results are good, students enjoy Geography and are very successful. The team is very forward thinking, they deliver an ambitious KS3 curriculum and are regularly used as exemplars of good practice across the school. For the right candidate, there are also opportunities for whole school responsibility in addition to this role.
