KS2 SEN HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT, MOUNT CHARLES SCHOOL (REF:MOU052)

31.25 hours per week, term time + inset days-Permanent role

Actual gross salary £12,198-£15,166 (Pay and grading review pending)

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and committed KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work within our team to start from September. The successful candidate will need to work closely with our KS1 SEN HLTA, Assistant Head teachers and Class Teachers to ensure effective provision for children with special educational needs. They will also be required to teach whole classes in the event of staff sickness or training absence.

They will take a lead role within the school team planning, delivering, assessing and reviewing interventions. They will work closely to support class teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that children are well supported ensuring quality interactions with children which will maximise their learning to ensure good progress. 

You must be passionate about children’s learning and proactive in supporting children, working with families and alongside staff. You must be committed to maintaining high standards and expectations and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
