Permanent, 31.25 hours per week
Term-time plus INSET (38.6 working weeks / 43.809 paid weeks)
Starting salary £12,198 actual gross per annum

We are seeking to appoint a Student Support Base Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This role will involve supporting the learning needs of students, under the direction of our SENDCo.
The purpose of the role is to support students in their educational journey to allow them to access learning through diversity, to help them understand how their behaviour affects their success and to guide them by following the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy. This role will involve supporting students’ emotional well-being and modelling how a positive attitude will reflect in their overall achievement during their time at the school.
Brannel School is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools, with a strategic vision of ‘learning together to help every child achieve more’. This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.
