Salary Range: £19,243 – £24,405 per annum

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to work as Head Groundsperson across two Secondary Schools within Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools, with a strategic vision to ‘learn together to help every child achieve more’. This is an exciting time to join our large, dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools with a Free School (primary) to open in September 2021. There is a real commitment to professional development within the school and across the Trust, with unparalleled CPD and career development prospects.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundsperson to join our Site Teams at Poltair School and Penrice Academy. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the maintenance and tidiness of the school grounds, as well as the development of the facilities across the two sites.
Previous experience of grounds maintenance and industry recognised training for the use of relevant machinery is essential. Experience of sports pitch maintenance and pitch marking would also be desirable.
