TEACHING ASSISTANT & SEN 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT (REF:032)

Role 1. 25 hours permanent term time + 2 inset days-£9.14 hourly rate

Role 2. 30 hours permanent term time +2 inset days-£9.14 hourly rate

(one of these roles will in addition incorporate up to 10 hours working in the after school club from 3.00pm-5.00pm-£8.91 hourly rate)

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and a SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 to support a pupil with additional needs, across the primary age range in and out of the classroom. We foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where children are celebrated as unique individuals. The successful candidate will be expected to:

Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum to children with additional needs
Undertake group work
Assist in break-time supervision
Assist in the preparation of teaching resources
Be able to communicate effectively with children and parents
1:1 role to support Health Care Assistant with medical needs in a case of emergency
