Teaching Assistant (with lunchtime duties)
Permanent-16 hours a week term time + 2 inset days
Actual gross salary £6401 per annum
Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the primary age range. Part time hours of 16 hours per week primarily working from 0845 to 1245 Monday to Friday. The post will also include lunchtime cover. We are an inclusive school that is committed to providing a wide range of high learning experiences for all children. There are currently 92 pupils on roll in four mixed age classes. We are committed to appointing the right person-previous experience, including the teaching of phonics, is desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum
- Cover classes as required
- Provide lunchtime cover
- Undertake group work
- Assist in break-time supervision
- Assist in the preparation of teaching resources
- Be able to communicate effectively with children and parents
