Grade H, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Actual Salary Range: £22,326 – £26,888 per annum
Permanent Contract, required to start as soon as possible

We are looking for an Operational Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our supportive and skilled team at Penrice Academy. We are a highly successful school that values the importance that pastoral support, care and guidance provides for our leaners. To be successful in the post, we are looking for an Operational Designated Safeguarding Lead who will act as the main point of contact, with day-to-day responsibility within the Academy for safeguarding and child protection, in line with statutory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating the development of safeguarding policies, guidance, training and procedures for the Academy, as well as evaluating the training provided, ensuring compliance and ensuring that safeguarding is embedded in the culture of the Academy. The Operational Designated Safeguarding Lead will also have responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of our team of safeguarding members here at Penrice Academy. We are looking for a candidate that has previous experience as a deputy designated safeguarding lead, or similar experience.
