L12-L18 to include 0.4 fte teaching commitment

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint a Head of School at Mevagissey Primary School. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics and experience;

  • A strong, visible leader with a personality and presence that will be seen by parents and the community
  • An outstanding class teacher
  • Has a clear, compelling vision and is able to drive that vision to achieve results
  • Has a commitment to the entire community, within and outside the school gates
  • Can use data to drive decision making
  • Has a proven track record of successful leadership in their current role
  • Is an innovator, including the ability to use evidence-based research to help develop a philosophy of teaching and learning
  • Will support and guide staff to enable them to be both effective in their roles

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools with a strategic vision of ‘learning together to help every child achieve more’.  This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating over 7,500 learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and nine primary schools.
