Term Time plus 5 INSET days plus 12 additional days (41.4 working weeks / 47.400 paid weeks)
Starting salary £16,661 actual gross per annum

- We are a dynamic, supportive workplace situated in the heart of rural Cornwall approximately 10 miles between Newquay on the north coast and beautiful St Austell Bay on the south coast.
As one of our School Administrative Assistants you will work as part of a small, very friendly and supportive team which plays a crucial role in the day-to-day life of our school, by providing a wide range of administrative and general support to keep school life running as smoothly as possible. Training will be provided where necessary, for example in use of the Schools Information Management System (SIMS). This role offers the opportunity to use a wide range of administration skills and includes welcoming visitors to the school, liaising with agencies and stakeholders, both in person and on the telephone and providing administrative support to the School Leadership Team and teaching staff. The successful applicant should be a team player who enjoys a busy working environment, who is looking to join an energising and supportive educational setting.
Brannel School is situated in the heart of rural Cornwall’s china clay communities and offers 850 places to students aged 11-16. Brannel School is part of the Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), which is responsible for educating learners in four secondary schools, one junior school and nine primary schools across Mid-Cornwall from Newquay to St Austell.
