Term Time plus 3 INSET days (38.6 working weeks / 44.194 paid weeks)

Starting salary £8,397 actual gross per annum

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Catering department from May to cover maternity leave.  This role will be based at Newquay Junior Academy but you will be part of our hardworking, customer focused, Catering team that also works with Newquay Tretherras.  The successful candidate will provide key support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.  The abilities to work on your own initiative and as part of a team are essential.  All part time requests will be considered, with a flexible approach to working hours.  An immediate start is also available.  There may be a requirement to work functions for the school during some holidays and weekends.  If you are passionate about food and enthusiastic about working with a fantastic team, we would love to hear from you.

Newquay Junior Academy is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools, which is responsible for educating learners in four secondary schools, one junior school and nine primary schools with a strategic vision of ‘learning together to help every child achieve more’.
