APPRENTICE NURSERY ASSISTANT

LOSTWITHIEL (REF:LOS028)

30 hours per week 52 weeks fixed term for 18 months

Apprenticeship rate for 1st year £7,523

(Increasing to National Minimum Wage in the 2nd year)

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint an apprentice nursery assistant for Lostwithiel Primary School to work under the direct instruction of the nursery manager, in the nursery setting.

  • The role holder will contribute to high-quality early years education, with a strong focus on communication
  • Liaise effectively with parents and carers
  • Fulfil legal and statutory requirements to ensure that all safeguarding policies and procedures are correctly implemented
  • To implement the daily routine in the nursery setting and maintain high standards of provision
