Full Time, Permanent Contract – required for September 2023
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science to join our large, highly successful, creative and dynamic Science department. The Science curriculum has been thoughtfully designed by our team of specialists to engage, challenge and inspire our young people. Our team is made up of 1 Head of Science and 2 Deputy Heads of Science. There are 13 teachers in total and 3 technicians who all work together collaboratively to inspire our students. We believe that every student is a scientist and our vision for our students is that they are successful, resilient and curious! We are a successful team with a track record of excellent results. Last year we achieved 92% grade 4 and above and 77% grade 5 and significantly +0.82 for our PP students (+0.9 overall). Our triple students’ progress was +0.6 for biology, +0.62 for chemistry and +0.7 for physics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to work within our Science team. We offer an extensive and highly supportive programme for our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff.
