Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly skilled classroom practitioner to work in our vibrant and caring school. This role can be for either KS1 or KS2.
St. Mewan is a popular, two form entry school on the outskirts of St. Austell with a fantastic team of committed staff who go above and beyond for all of our pupils. We can provide the successful candidate with high quality CPD, the opportunity to learn from colleagues across our large multi-academy trust and the support of an experienced teaching team.
Successful candidates should have:
- An appropriate teaching qualification with subject specialism stated
- Experience of teaching in a primary school in either Key Stage One or Key Stage Two
- A working understanding of assessment procedures at the end of Key Stage One and Two.
- The ability to work as part of a team to plan progressive units of work
- Aspirations for all pupils to achieve their very best
- High expectations of behaviour for learning
- A thorough knowledge of the safeguarding requirements for schools
- The ability to engage and inspire children and to plan for children of all abilities
